Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a part-time Imaging Support Aide to aid in patient transport, room preparation, and clerical tasks within Radiology. You will work closely with technologists, radiologists, and staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely imaging services.

Responsibilities include assisting exam readiness, operating radiology computer systems for scheduling and requisitions, and maintaining cleanliness and stock in exam rooms. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program accredited by ARRT/ARDMS
• GED or HSED or High School Graduate
• No prior experience required

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exam preparation and transport
• Use radiology systems to generate requisitions and check schedules
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment
• Greet patients and schedule appointments
• Act as liaison between physicians, radiologists and technologists
• Document information and communicate patient needs with the team
