Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a hospital-based Transport/Aide role within the radiology department. You will assist in patient movement, verify orders, and communicate with physicians and technologists to ensure accurate imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills are required.
• Enrolled in an accredited Radiology program is preferred.
• BLS certification is required by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriateness of examinations and clarify/modify orders with physicians.
• Transport patients to/within the ER, CT Scanner, and radiology department.
• Transfer patients on/off exam tables and transfer arrangements.
• Answer telephones promptly and communicate professionally.
• Check patient demographics and requisitions for accuracy (outpatients and inpatients).
• Arrange transport and assist in procedure rooms.
• Update technologists on appointment status and changes.
