University Orthopedics in East Providence, RI is seeking an X-Ray Runner/Aide to provide routine technical support in the Radiology Department. The role requires strong communication, patient care understanding, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinic with a patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, importing outside imaging into PACS, coordinating with X-Ray Techs and staff, and maintaining exam rooms and patient dressing areas.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Interpersonal skills to work with staff, patients and physicians.
• Computer skills in EHR, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Escort and transport patients to and from imaging rooms.
• Import outside imaging into the PACS system.
• Communicate with X-Ray Techs, staff members and patients.
• Assist in preparing, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining X-Ray rooms and patient areas.
• Assist in setting up equipment.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Manager to meet department needs.
