Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Education: GED or HSED or High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assists patient in preparation for exam and transports between rooms.
• Greets patients and responds to routine requests for information.
• Uses radiology systems to generate requisitions and check schedules.
• Organizes exam rooms, prepares work areas, and maintains equipment.
• Acts as liaison between physician, radiologist and technologist.
• Provides radiology reports/images upon request and manages records.
• Documents information and communicates observations to the health care team.
• Performs routine maintenance and quality monitoring of imaging equipment.
• Assists with screening and documentation of MRI implants.
• Demonstrates patient age-appropriate care across life span.
