Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel seeks a Radiology Scheduling Coordinator to optimize modality workflows, monitor patient wait times, and ensure HIPAA-compliant records handling.

You will collaborate with Directors, Radiologists, and Modality Leaders to resolve scheduling constraints, prepare reservations within policy, and provide front-desk support to reduce delays. Strong communication and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Experience in patient registration, billing scheduling or insurance authorizations.
• Strong communication, integrity, and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow for all radiology modalities and monitor patient wait times.
• Ensure accurate scheduling and proper outpatient preparation; resolve conflicts with leaders.
• Support front-desk operations to minimize wait times and resolve issues.
• Perform records release under HIPAA; operate EMR, PACS, and related systems.
• Escalate unresolved challenges to leadership and communicate expectations clearly.
