Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to join our team in Wisconsin. The role involves answering phones, managing faxes, and scheduling patient examinations while ensuring accurate data capture and clear communication with patients and referring offices.

The position supports a Monday-Thursday 11:30am-8:00pm and Friday 10:30am-7:00pm schedule with weekend rotation. Prior office experience and healthcare terminology knowledge are a plus, along with strong computer and typing skills.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and proficient computer skills.
• Experience with multi-line phone systems and high-volume calls is preferred.
• Medical terminology or healthcare office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and handle calls professionally and promptly.
• Schedule patient examinations per company policy.
• Collect and verify patient, insurance and financial information.
• Ensure data entry accuracy in information systems and EHRs.
• Inform patients about financial responsibilities, preparation kits, transportation, and meals before exams.
• Coordinate scheduling changes with technologists to optimize patient satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date referral physician database and assist overflow calls.
• Provide back-up coverage for front office during breaks or absences.
