Midstate Radiology Associates is seeking a Full Time Radiology Scheduling Agent to work on-site in Wallingford, CT. You will handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule radiology exams and coordinate with multiple imaging modalities across service locations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from offices and patients to schedule radiology or MRI exams.
• Make outbound calls to patients and offices to schedule radiology and MRI exams.
• Proficiently schedule patients for multiple imaging modalities across service locations.
• Maintain proficiency in scheduling for X-Ray, DEXA, Fluoroscopy, CAT Scan, Ultrasound, and Mammography exams.
• Maintain training materials and pursue continuous learning.

Position Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, 40 hours/week (Multiple positions open due to growth).

Compensation:MRA offers competitive starting compensation based on qualifications and experience. Starting pay for this position is between $20.00 and $25.00. Advancement Opportunity to Radiology Scheduling Agent II, including pay increase, after six months.

Job Summary:

Radiology Scheduling Agents are responsible for scheduling patients for multiple imaging modalities at all of MRA's service locations following established workflows and procedures. Radiology Scheduling Agents take inbound calls or make outbound calls to schedule radiology exams.

Key Accountabilities:

• Answer inbound calls from all offices and patients requesting to schedule radiology or MRI exams.
• Make outbound calls to patients and offices to schedule radiology and MRI exams.
• Proficiently schedule patients for multiple imaging modalities for all MRA service locations following established protocol, workflows, and scripting.
• Maintaining certified proficiency in scheduling for X-Ray, DEXA, Fluoroscopy, CAT Scan, Ultrasound, and Mammography exams.
• Maintain up-to-date training and reference materials and remain in a state of continuous learning and improvement.
• Strive to meet established departmental goals and achieve desired call center metrics.
• Meet or exceed individual performance criteria.
• Performs other duties as assigned based on the changing needs of the organization.

Qualifications Guidelines:

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a call center environment preferred.
• Experience providing healthcare-related customer service and scheduling is preferred.
• Experience being accountable for call center metrics is preferred (answer time, average handle time, return to queue, etc.).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
