Job summary

Harborview Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a Patient Services Specialist 2 to support high-volume scheduling for outpatient mammography, manage imaging records, and coordinate image intake into the UW Medicine EMR and PACS systems.

You will handle ROI requests, ensure PHI is disclosed in compliance with regulations, and provide cross-coverage for the Emergency Department Radiology reading room with a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume outpatient scheduling for mammography and monitor Epic queues to optimize templates and minimize waitlists.
• Reach out to external facilities to request, expedite, and track historical mammography films and reports.
• Coordinate the technical upload and data reconciliation of external images and reports into UW Medicine EMR and Radiology PACS.
• Review, prioritize, and process daily ROI requests within Epic to disclose PHI in compliance with law.
• Provide administrative backup for the Emergency Department Radiology reading room, triaging calls and handling orders.
