Job summary

Harborview Medical Center in Seattle seeks a Patient Services Specialist 2 to coordinate high-volume outpatient mammography scheduling, monitor Epic queues, and ensure smooth clinical workflows for patients and radiology services.

You will acquire external imaging records, process ROI requests within Epic, and provide operational cross-coverage for the Emergency Department Radiology reading room, supporting a compliant, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume outpatient scheduling for mammography and monitor Epic queues to optimize templates and reduce waitlists.
• Acquire external imaging records from outside facilities for clinical comparison.
• Coordinate technical upload and reconciliation of external images and reports into the UW Medicine EMR and Radiology PACS systems.
