Harborview Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a Patient Services Specialist 2 to support radiology scheduling, imaging intake, and information release processes. The role emphasizes accuracy in handling medical records, external imaging, and coordinating with the Radiology department.

The position is on-site, per diem with alternate shifts, and temporary in nature, with a focus on efficient patient flow and PHI compliance in Epic and PACS environments.

Competenze

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Mansioni

• Coordinate high-volume outpatient mammography scheduling and monitor Epic queues.
• Request, expedite, and track external mammography films and reports for clinical comparison.
• Coordinate upload and reconciliation of external images/reports into UW EMR and Radiology PACS.
• Review and process ROI requests daily to ensure PHI disclosure compliance.
• Provide operational cross-coverage for the Emergency Department Radiology reading room and triage calls.
