Marshall Medical Center is seeking a Hospital Scheduler to manage scheduling, cancellation, and rescheduling of Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiac, and Pulmonary exams. You will coordinate exam resources and support urgent requests with physicians, radiologists, and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Medical Terminology required, or course completion within first year.
• Two years of medical office scheduling and/or billing experience required.
• One year of medical imaging scheduling preferred.
• Knowledge of scheduling software and healthcare processes.
• Familiarity with insurance coordination and Medicare/Medicaid procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule all imaging exams.
• Coordinate exam resources and staff for appointments.
• Accommodate urgent exam requests with leads, technical staff, and radiologists.
• Maintain accurate appointment records and provide courteous service.
