Job summary

Toledo Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented scheduling support role to manage radiology appointments and patient communications. The position works under the supervision of the Lead Scheduler and involves coordinating tests, obtaining patient consent, and handling related clerical duties.

Responsibilities include gathering charts, assisting reception staff, typing correspondence, and occasional travel to other TTC radiology locations.

• Completes consent forms with the patient.
• Contacts patients regarding appointment times.

• Gathers and organizes chart.
• Assist with receptionists with various clerical duties (phones, appointments, etc).
• Types correspondences, memos, and letters.
• May require occasional travel to other TTC radiology locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required:

• Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Excellent organizational skills and patience.
• Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• Adheres to clinic’s policies and procedures.

Education:

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Medical terminology coursework helpful.

Preferred:

• Previous scheduling experience or minimum of 2 years medical receptionist experience.
