Responsibilities include daily monitoring of physicians' schedules, insurance verification for accurate reimbursement, and proficient use of clinical, registration, and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
• Minimum of 3 years of previous job-related experience
• Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education (preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Service Rep, highly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years training in general administrative, business, healthcare, or related field

Responsibilities

• SCHEDULING - Monitors physicians' schedules daily for optimal physician schedule
• INSURANCE VERIFICATION - Utilizes insurance verification procedures to ensure maximum reimbursement and correct payment
• COMPUTER APPLICATIONS - Proficient in clinical, registration and scheduling software systems
• TELEPHONE UTILIZATION - Efficiently and effectively manage a high volume of telephone calls to the service area. a.) Answers calls using telephone customer service skills and maintains 95% for customer telephone skills
