Job summary

Grady Health System seeks an experienced Radiology Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure safe, efficient patient care. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritize examinations based on hospital demand.

You will supervise a team, coordinate with departments, and participate in performance-improvement initiatives. Shift: Fri/Sat/Sun 8a–8:30p.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field OR two years of college related coursework in Radiologic, Health Sciences or Administrative related field; four years of related experience accepted.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field preferred.
• Six or more years of job related experience including 2 years in a leadership role.
• Prior supervisory/ leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Current registration in modality specified with ARRT, ARMRIT, ARDMS or NMTCB.
• Registration options include Bone Densitometry, Breast Sonography, Cardiac/Interventional Radiography, CT, MR, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, QM, Radiation Therapy, Radiography, RRA, Sonography, VI, VS. Nurse in GA.
• Must have exceptional written and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
• Able to demonstrate and perform all technical operations of assigned modality.
• Participate in Organization Performance Improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• The supervisor oversees daily departmental operations for efficiency and supervises assigned staff.
• Requires discretion and independent judgement to ensure safety and satisfaction of Radiology team and customers.
• Prioritize patient examinations and team needs based on hospital demand.
• Shift is Fri/Sat/Sun 8a-8:30p.
