Job summary

Middlesex Health in Connecticut is seeking a Radiology Coordinator to supervise imaging services within the Urgent Care modality, ensuring smooth daily operations, quality control and excellent patient care.

You will mentor staff, coordinate QC and machine maintenance, and liaise between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics, applying teamwork and strong judgment to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three to five years experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• One to three years leadership experience including coaching and scheduling staff.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise imaging services daily operations and QC within Urgent Care.
• Act as Medical Assistant to room patients; obtain vitals and interview patients.
• Mentor staff and students; provide coaching and training as needed.
• Perform regular QA/QC checks and coordinate machine maintenance.
• Record errors or incidents and liaise between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics.
• Apply teamwork and professional judgment to ensure high morale and patient care.
