Job summary

Middlesex Health in Middletown, CT seeks a Radiology Coordinator to supervise daily imaging operations within the Urgent Care modality. This role oversees workflow, quality control, and patient care for imaging procedures, ensuring policy compliance and high service standards.

You will mentor staff and students, coordinate machine maintenance and QA checks, and act as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics to keep imaging practices current and efficient.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise imaging services daily operations and QA.
• Provide patient care and assist with imaging procedures in accordance with policies.
• Mentor staff and students; coach and train as needed.
• Coordinate machine maintenance and perform QC checks.
• Record errors/incidents and address them with technicians.
• Liaise between Radiology Department and Urgent Care clinics to ensure up-to-date practices.
• Demonstrate teamwork and professional conduct to promote morale.
