Job summary

Middlesex Health in Connecticut seeks a Radiology Coordinator to supervise and coordinate daily imaging operations within the Urgent Care modality. You will ensure high-quality patient care, efficient workflows, and adherence to policies.

The role involves mentoring staff, performing QC/QA checks, coordinating maintenance, and serving as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily imaging operations in Urgent Care.
• Room patients as Medical Assistant; obtain vitals and interview patients.
• Mentor staff and students; provide coaching and training.
• Perform QC checks and coordinate machine maintenance.
• Perform QA checks for each technician; coach and train as needed.
• Record errors or incidents; liaise between Radiology and Urgent Care.
• Act as liaison to ensure up-to-date practice for all techs.
• Apply teamwork, good judgment and technical expertise across imaging procedures.
