Job summary

Middlesex Health in Connecticut is seeking a Radiology Coordinator to supervise daily imaging operations across the Urgent Care modality, ensuring quality control and excellent patient service.

You will mentor staff and students, manage QC/QA checks, coordinate machine maintenance, and serve as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care to keep best practices up to date. This leadership role requires ARRT certification, radiography training, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Supervise imaging services, daily operations, workflow, and quality control for the Urgent Care modality.
• Mentor staff and students; coach and solve problems as needed.
• Perform regular QC checks and coordinate machine maintenance.
• Conduct QA checks for technicians and provide training when necessary.
• Act as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care to ensure up-to-date practices.
• Apply teamwork principles and model professional behavior to staff.
