Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Patient Service Representative for the Radiology Front Desk at Lake Forest Hospital. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional rotation to 11:30 a.m.

to 8:00 p.m. for PTO coverage and rotating Saturdays. The role focuses on greeting patients, checking them in/out, updating demographics and insurance info, completing registrations, collecting payments, and ensuring a positive patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in a customer service position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests upon arrival and verify identity.
• Complete check-in/out functions and update patient demographics/insurance information.
• Complete patient registration as needed and collect co-payments.
• Post payments and perform end-of-day cash drawer closing.
• Keep waiting area clean and comfortable.
• Inform patients of delays or changes in appointment status.
• Schedule appointments as necessary; may perform other duties.
