You will handle front-desk duties, protect patient privacy, and support back-office operations while delivering compassionate customer service in a clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and professional communication in all situations.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience in radiology or medical office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information, and collect signatures.
• Log and collect co-pays and fees accurately.
• Answer, transfer, and screen incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide patient orientation for safety protocols and directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office for timely patient care.
• Protect patient privacy and PHI in accordance with policy.
• Safeguard medications on site per policy and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
