RadNet is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate with back-office staff to ensure smooth clinical flow. The role emphasizes friendly, service-oriented communication and strict adherence to privacy and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and proven customer service experience in a radiology or healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and radiology office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer/transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and confirm with patients; notify staff of changes.
• Provide orientation for preparatory and safety protocols; give directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and property.
• Safeguards on-site medications per company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture and maintain cooperative working relationships.
