The 61st Street Service Corporation seeks a Practice Associate IV to support front desk operations in the Department of Radiology and lead a small team with minimal supervision. You will coordinate registrations, verify insurances, obtain authorizations and assist with scheduling and patient flow.

Strong customer service, organization, and communication are essential, as is mentoring peers and supporting service standards across sites as needed.

Formación

• Associate degree required or 2 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years’ relevant experience or equivalent certifications/education.
• Medical office experience required.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn Epic.
• Experience in radiology or medical imaging office preferred; Epic experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and answer calls.
• Handle pre-registration, check-in/out, and scheduling.
• Verify insurance details and obtain authorizations.
• Schedule appointments and imaging services; coordinate care.
• Serve as liaison among providers, referrals, and patients.
• Mentor staff and conduct trainings; audits and compliance checks.
• Assist with staff scheduling and coverage.
• Other duties as assigned.
