Job summary

WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a dedicated Education Program Coordinator for the Radiography program to ensure accreditation and quality education. The role involves administering clinical and didactic components, coordinating with education and clinical partners, and managing the education cost center budget.

You will counsel students, supervise faculty, and contribute to program development while supporting WVUHS-affiliated education efforts and external college collaborations.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ experience in the Radiologic Technology discipline.
• Two (2) years’ experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.
• Two (2) years as program director/clinical coordinator in a JRCERT accredited program (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Administers the clinical and didactic components of the Radiography program to assure accreditation and institutional compliance.
• Participates in marketing and recruitment while representing the institution professionally.
• Coordinates policies/procedures across education and clinical coordinators.
• Manages department operations and supports change initiatives with staff involvement.
• Counsels and advises students on clinical/professional performance; identifies remedial education needs.
• Manages education faculty and instructional staff; ensures qualifications are met.
• Maintains accreditation standards with JRCERT and WVUHS requirements.
• Develops didactic/clinical instruction methodologies and curriculum updates.
• Provides didactic instruction as required by course offerings and standards.
• Maintains student records per federal/state statutes.
• Manages Radiology Education cost center budget and bursar activities.
• Serves as Financial Aid Administrator for education programs.
• Develops assessment plans for program evaluation as required by JRCERT.
