Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our outpatient radiology network, with responsibilities including patient scheduling, front-desk duties, and coordinating workflows across facilities.

Under supervision, you will collect patient demographics and insurance details, maintain account folders, communicate with referring offices and sales reps, ensure patients are cleared for tests, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use common software.
• Knowledge of insurance plans is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Schedules/re-schedules patient appointments at the appropriate facility and fulfills customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintains designated account folders and follows departmental expectations.
• Communicates regularly with assigned referring offices and appropriate sales representatives.
• Ensures patients have been cleared for specific diagnostic tests.
• Collects and enters patient demographics and insurance information as needed.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and provides excellent customer service.
