Responsibilities

• Act as an advocate to Radiology and Patient Access.
• Schedule appointments and accept incoming calls, processing paperwork in Women’s Imaging and OP Radiology.
• Maintain radiology records and patient charts/reports.
• Coordinate with insurance companies to ensure claims are processed accurately.
• Update patient charts and orders with test results and other information.
• Check insurance eligibility and verify authorizations for services rendered.
• Utilize Radiology Information System and coordinate changes to meet reimbursement requirements.
