UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking an ambulatory/clerical assistant to support radiology services. You will greet visitors, verify demographic and insurance information, collect co-pays, coordinate scheduling and referrals, and ensure accurate records in a busy outpatient setting.

As a trusted member of the team, you’ll work under standard staffing guidelines, handle administrative duties, advise on patient needs, and help maintain compliance with policies and safety requirements

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• 3 years of related experience, or a waiver if candidate has an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to use specialized applications software and computer systems.

Responsabilidades

• Greets visitors and patients for scheduled or urgent appointments and procedures.
• Confirms and verifies patient demographic and insurance information.
• May collect co-payments from patients upon arrival.
• Obtains signatures of consent for treatment and insurance/billing information.
• Schedules urgent care appointments and coordinates treatment across providers.
• Maintains accurate and timely records, logs, and files.
• Performs related administrative duties and supports clinicians and staff.
