WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist committed to excellent patient care to join our team. Role includes operating X-Ray equipment, ensuring safety, and documenting procedures in EMR and PACS.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; ARRT certification required.
• Active state license and ARRT certification; ability to obtain licensure as needed.
• Strong knowledge of radiology procedures, safety, and patient positioning.
• Proficient with EMR systems and PACS for imaging workflow.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm ordered examination.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures with safety practices.
• Obtain patient history and document observations during exams.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure equipment is functioning; report malfunctions to Lead Technologist.
• Complete radiologic procedures in EMR and code for billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization from insurers for CT scans.
• Confirm X-Ray exam in PACS and ensure report is in chart.
• Clarify discrepancies with provider; assist with site cleanup and stocking.
• Participate in quality control; support efficient patient flow including triage.
• Provide basic medical assisting and occupational medicine support as needed.
