WellNow Urgent Care in Indiana is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The role involves starting up and operating X-Ray equipment, ensuring patient safety, and documenting procedures in the EMR.

We offer competitive pay with a starting rate of $29 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications include completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, active ARRT certification, and applicable state licensure.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification.
• Active state licensure as required by state law.
• Strong customer service and reliability in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot X-Ray equipment, start-up and shut-down.
• Identify patient, confirm examination orders, and position for imaging.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures with safety protocols.
• Obtain patient history and document observations during imaging.
• Utilize radiation protection and shielding materials as appropriate.
• Ensure equipment function and report malfunctions to Lead Radiologic Technologist.
• Enter radiology procedures into EMR and code for billing as needed.
• Obtain pre-authorization from insurers for CT scans when required.
• Verify exam in PACS and ensure reports are in the chart.
• Coordinate with providers to resolve reading discrepancies.
• Assist with site stocking, QC/QA, and basic medical assisting tasks.
