Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care in the United States is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. You will start up and shut down X-Ray equipment, identify patients, prepare for procedures, and perform radiologic exams with a focus on safety and accuracy.

You will work with EMR and PACS, ensure billing notes, obtain pre-authorizations for CT when needed, and contribute to quality control. What we offer includes competitive hourly pay, generous PTO, medical benefits, 401(k) with match, CE

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Active ARRT certification and state licensure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with EMR and PACS systems.
• Excellent patient care and safety practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment start up and shut down.
• Identify patient and confirm ordered examination.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform X-rays safely.
• Obtain patient history and note observations during exam.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure equipment functions properly and report malfunctions.
• Document radiologic procedures in EMR and assist billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans when needed.
• Confirm X-ray exam in PACS and update patient chart.
• Clarify discrepant radiology readings with provider.
• Stock supplies and participate in quality control.
• Assist with basic medical assisting and triage calls.
