Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our growing team. This role offers a competitive starting wage of $31.00 per hour, with bonus potential and opportunities for advancement across our expanding network.

Qualifications

Minimum High School degree or equivalent required.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or pending graduation within 4–6 months.
ARRT Certification and Registration active.
Applicable state licensure as required by state.
Active driver's license.

Responsibilities

Start up and shut down X-Ray equipment.
Identify the patient and confirm the exam ordered.
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform x-rays safely.
Obtain patient history and note observations during radiologic exams.
Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
Ensure equipment functions properly and report malfunctions to Lead Technologist.
Document Radiologic Procedures in EMR and assist billing.
Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans.
Confirm exam in PACS and ensure reports are in chart.
Clarify discrepancies in readings with the provider.
Stock and clean the site; participate in QA programs.
Assist with basic medical assisting and occupational medicine duties as needed.
