Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the ARRT National Board and hold a Connecticut License to practice Radiographic procedures or obtain within 3 months of graduation.
• On-going CEU requirements to maintain licensure.
• Must have Basic Life Support certification on hire and maintain.
• Independently perform in at least two radiologic modalities with strong physics, anatomy, terminology, sterile technique and radiation protection.
• Meet annual Hartford HealthCare education requirements for the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiographic procedures according to standards and guidelines.
• Operate and assist with fluoroscopic exams including GI studies and C-Arm procedures.
• Provide clinical patient care during diagnostic procedures.
• Evaluate image quality and accuracy of documentation.
• Mentor students in clinical and ethical aspects of radiologic technology.
• Maintain stock and PPE for assigned stations; ensure infection control.
• Collaborate with team to complete duties and tasks.
• Adapt to changing procedures and responsibilities as required.
