Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital in Connecticut, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform and assist in radiographic procedures under supervision, with independent judgment and a thorough knowledge of anatomy and equipment.

Responsibilities include routine radiographic procedures, fluoroscopic exams, patient care, image quality critique, documentation, teaching students, stock management, infection control, teamwork, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and CT radiologic licensure within 3 months of graduation.
• ARRT National Board certification and CT license to practice radiographic procedures.
• Maintain licensure with required CEUs and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiographic procedures per department standards and regulations.
• Fluoroscopy including GI studies, ERCPs, arthrography, hysterosalpingography, urography, and C-arm work.
• Provide proper clinical patient care during diagnostic procedures.
• Assess image quality and provide constructive critique.
• Document findings accurately in the computer system.
• Mentor students in clinical and ethical aspects of radiologic technology.
• Maintain stock levels and PPE for assigned stations.
• Uphold infection control standards consistently.
• Collaborate with team to accomplish tasks.
• Perform additional duties as required.
