Qualifications

• Must pass the ARRT National Board and hold CT license to practice radiographic procedures or obtain within 3 months of graduation.
• Advanced math and physics knowledge for radiation exposure settings.
• Independent judgment in radiologic procedures with clinical patient care.
• Must obtain required CEUs to maintain licensure.
• Bilingual Spanish desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiographic procedures according to department standards and guidelines.
• Conduct fluoroscopic exams including GI studies and special procedures like Hysterosalpingography.
• Provide proper clinical patient care during diagnostic procedures.
• Critique image quality and ensure accurate documentation.
• Mentor students in clinical and ethical aspects of radiologic technologist practice.
• Maintain stock levels and PPE for assigned stations, and uphold infection control standards.
• Collaborate with team to accomplish tasks and ensure patient safety.
• Adhere to radiation protection principles and state regulations.
• Assist in other duties as required by the department.
• Stay current with department policies and continuing education requirements.
