The ideal candidate has an ARRT certification, MD/VA licensure upon hire, and 3+ years of radiography/fluoroscopy experience, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; or Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy.
• ARRT certification required upon hire; Maryland and/or Virginia licensure upon hire; BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specifications and protocols.
• Adhere to radiation safety and organizational policies while providing diagnostic imaging for patients of all ages.
• Support invasive procedures in the operating room using C-Arm and/or O-Arm; maintain quality control and report equipment issues.
• Participate in performance-improvement initiatives to improve workflows, patient experience, quality, and safety.
• Document patient care activities in EHR and distribute final images to PACS promptly.
