Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Part-time Radiologic Technologist II at Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. You will operate digital fluoroscopy and portable radiology equipment, ensure radiation safety, and produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages.

You will support invasive procedures with C-Arm/O-Arm, participate in ongoing education, and contribute to safety and efficiency in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Radiologic imaging knowledge and patient communication are essential.
• ARRT certification and state licensure are required upon hire.
• A minimum of an associate degree or equivalent radiologic technology program is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specs and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, proper identification, accurate image labeling, and adherence to radiation safety policies.
• Independently support invasive procedures in the operating room using C-Arm or O-Arm and assist with image quality evaluation.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to improve workflows, patient experience, quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and manage supplies within the area.
• Document patient care activities in EHR and transfer final images to PACS for interpretation.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ARRT ethics and departmental policies.
