Job summary

MedStar Health's Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II for a part-time role. You will operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiography equipment to obtain routine radiographs according to physician specifications and established protocols, while upholding radiation safety standards and patient comfort.

The position requires ARRT certification on hire, Maryland and/or Virginia licensure, an associate degree or METC-certified program,

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Radiologic Technology certificate (METC) required.
• ARRT certification required upon hire.
• Maryland and/or Virginia radiologic license required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Three+ years of diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specs and protocols.
• Apply radiologic knowledge to provide imaging services while upholding radiation safety and policies.
• Support invasive procedures in the operating room using C-Arm and/or O-Arm.
• Document patient care activities in EHR and distribute final images to PACS in a timely manner.
• Maintain equipment quality control and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
