Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a Radiology Imaging professional to perform imaging exams in a safe, patient-centered environment. You will ensure quality images, support radiologists, and comply with department protocols while maintaining strong patient communication and safety.

The role requires an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT (R) certification with BLS. On-site duties, collaboration with the modality manager, and adherence to Wellstar standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Commitment to patient-family centered care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging procedures and ALARA to minimize exposure.
• Performs modality imaging exams and evaluates technical quality of images.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and adheres to department protocols.
• Maintains patient safety and aseptic technique.
• Follows Wellstar policies and contributes to a safe, compliant environment.
