Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures for patients of all ages under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager.

You will adhere to ALARA, ensure image quality, maintain patient safety, assist Radiologists, and uphold patient-family centered care while following aseptic techniques and Wellstar policies.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-R - ARRT Radiography certification required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging while adhering to department protocols and ALARA principles.
• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams in various settings and evaluates image quality.
• Provides optimal patient care and upholds patient-family centered care.
• Applies patient safety principles and responds to emergencies appropriately.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and hand washing policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and other duties as assigned.
