Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager.

The role emphasizes ALARA, patient identification, image quality, post-processing, and safety with a focus on compassionate, family-centered care. ARRT-R and BLS certifications are required on hire, and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R certification required on hire.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Imaging exams across various settings and ensure accurate patient identification.
• Evaluate image quality and perform post-processing.
• Assist radiologists with procedures and adhere to ALARA and safety protocols.
• Maintain sterile technique and hand hygiene; ensure patient safety and comfort.
