Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging exams across modalities in a supportive, patient-centered environment. You will apply ALARA principles, ensure proper patient identification, and assist Radiologists with procedures while upholding Wellstar standards.

The role requires an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R certification, BLS, and a commitment to safety and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R certification required at hire.
• BLS (Instructor or Basic Life Support) required at hire.
• MRI requires ARRT(R) or ARMRIT; Nuclear Medicine requires CNMT or ARRT(N) on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging exams per modality and adheres to ALARA principles.
• Evaluates image quality and ensures proper patient identification.
• Maintains patient safety and aseptic technique during procedures.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Complies with Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct.
