Job summary

You will apply ALARA principles, ensure proper patient identification, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while upholding safety and quality across multiple imaging settings and procedures.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• Basic Life Support certification required (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates sound knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging while applying ALARA principles.
• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams in various settings and evaluates image quality.
• Ensures proper patient identification and records.
• Provides optimal patient care and supports patient-family centered care.
• Applies patient safety principles and responds to emergencies.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and handwashing policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned and compliant with Wellstar policies.
