Job summary

The position requires ARRT Radiography certification, an accredited radiologic technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification at hire.
• BLS-Instructor or BLS required.
• 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging exams in assigned modality and adheres to department protocols.
• Applies ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Ensures proper patient identification and post-processing for image quality.
• Provides patient care and supports the Radiologist during procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and aseptic technique.
• Follows Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct.
