Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an APRN for radiology imaging duties. You will perform imaging exams, support the radiology team, and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role requires ARRT-related certifications and an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities include following department protocols, assisting Radiologists, and maintaining high standards of patient care within a Wellstar facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate imaging equipment based on department modality.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Excellent patient/customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs modality imaging in various settings, ensures technical quality and patient identification.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to ALARA principles.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and hand washing policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Complies with Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct.
