Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an APRN Radiology professional to join its imaging team in Georgia. The role requires supervising radiology procedures, ensuring safety, and delivering compassionate patient care across various imaging modalities.

The candidate should have an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT(R) certification, and BLS (Instructor or equivalent). A minimum of 1 year radiology experience is preferred, with opportunities for education and career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology preferred.
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate radiology imaging equipment and adhere to ALARA.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in performance of imaging while adhering to department protocol.
• Performs imaging exams and ensures technical quality and proper patient identification.
• Provides optimal patient care and supports patient and family centered care.
• Maintains patient safety and responds to emergencies.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and hand hygiene policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
