Wellstar in Georgia is seeking an APRN for Radiology to deliver high-quality imaging services and patient care. The role requires expertise in imaging modalities, ALARA compliance, and collaboration with Radiologists to ensure optimal outcomes.

Duties include performing imaging exams, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the modality manager. This position offers competitive hourly pay plus shift differential incentives and access to Wellstar CareerCare education.

Qualificações

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• ARRT-R certification required; BLS required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.
• Ability to operate modality imaging equipment and communicate clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging modalities while following department protocols and ALARA principles.
• Performs imaging exams as assigned; evaluates image quality and ensures proper patient identification.
• Provides optimal patient care and supports patients' needs during procedures.
• Adheres to patient safety policies and responds to emergencies as needed.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
