Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an APRN Radiology professional to perform imaging exams across modalities, while adhering to ALARA and department protocols. You will support physicians, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality care with strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R Radiography and BLS required on hire.
• 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in imaging modality while following ALARA and department protocols.
• Performs imaging exams and evaluates technical quality.
• Ensures proper patient identification and post-processing of data.
• Maintains patient safety and responds to emergencies.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and hand-washing policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
