Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a skilled APRN to join our imaging team. You will perform radiology exams, support Radiologists, and ensure patient-centered care while applying ALARA principles to minimize exposure.

The role requires an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT(R) certification, and BLS certification. Minimum experience in Radiology and strong communication are preferred. The position offers competitive hourly pay and shift differentials within Wellstar Health System.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-R – ARRT Radiography certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire or prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate modality imaging equipment per department protocol.
• Assess image quality and ensure correct patient identification.
• Provide patient-centered care and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Assist Radiologists with procedures and protocols.
• Adhere to aseptic technique and hand-washing policies.
