The Radiologic Technologist (RT) collaborates with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to examine and treat GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role involves performing technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, analyzing patient x-rays, and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include administrative support to ensure efficient operations of the centers. The Technologist supports patient care management, organization, and communication alongside Medical Providers, Assistants, and patients.

Hourly rate: $25.00-35.00

Bonus: Eligible up to $600/month

Job Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma required
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program required

Work Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through ARC or AHA
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, as applicable by state law

Essential Functions

• Perform x-ray services under provider supervision, ensuring correct patient positioning and safety, including assisting patients in wheelchair transport
• Conduct patient registration, verify insurance and eligibility, and process co-pays
• Schedule provider referrals and answer patient inquiries regarding their care
• Prepare patients for examinations, including medical history, vital signs, and preliminary tests (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG)
• Stock supplies, maintain exam rooms, and ensure availability of medical supplies
• Maintain medical records, handle correspondence, and ensure reception area organization
• Follow operational procedures for equipment calibration, quality control, and maintenance
