Job description

Responsibilities
  • Perform OR procedures requiring radiographic support
  • Conduct portable radiologic examinations
  • Orient patients and provide patient education
  • Start IVs and draw labs as needed
Qualifications
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R); must maintain current registration
  • Certified by the Texas Department of Health as a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
  • BLS certification
Overview

As a Radiologic Technologist under the direction of the Medical Director, you will perform technical diagnostic imaging procedures and explain pre- and post-diagnostic procedures to patients. You will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures daily and educate patients on the imaging services they receive.

The Woodlands Hospital serves North Harris and Montgomery counties, offering services including cardiovascular, diagnostic imaging, women’s health (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care, surgery, pathology, pulmonary services, sleep disorders, and more. Clinical affiliations include MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Children’s Hospital.

Additional Information

This role is PRN, working weekdays, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range

$26.51 - $38.44 per hour
