Job summary
Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiographer to perform imaging procedures with radiologic equipment and ensure high-quality radiographs for diagnostic purposes. You will prepare records, explain procedures to patients, and maintain safe, comfortable conditions throughout examinations.
The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. 0-3 years of relevant experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a leading NJ health
Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
- 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
- NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Performs imaging and treatment processes per guidelines.
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes imaging equipment.
- Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses questions.
- Maintains equipment safety and patient comfort.
- Coordinates daily imaging procedures and revisions as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
